But I feel a bit sad since it was reported a minor commotion broke out when the Pewaris members were initially prevented from entering a talk on abolishing the Internal Security Act organised by PAS.
Funny, why PAS so scared with the word ISA. To them it seems like a fearsome phantom that ought to be hunt and killed. I don’t think ISA was introduced to prevents politicians with big mouth from vomitting out what so ever resentment they created or hallucinated. Still many politicians with that category unharmed and running free in Malaysia. To me ISA is still relevent in this complex and fragile multi-racial and multi-ehnic country. Why bother so much about abolishing ISA since majority has voice out their support to ISA. Hahaha, long life to ISA.
Back to the story, anyhow, beside the minor commotion they manage to negotiate for few minutes and the organisers allowed five of Pewaris members to enter the stadium to hand over the memorandum to vice-president Mohamad Sabu and PAS Youth head Salahuddin Ayub.
Pewaris deputy chairman Rahimuddin Md Harun later handed over the memorandum to PAS Pewaris and the Gabungan Gerakan Melayu Muda (GGMM), representing the residents of six villages in Malacca, want the PAS leaders to assist them in resolving the problems regarding pig-farming.
I really salute the effort made by these two groups and the NGOs. Their intentions was not because of gaining popularity or their stand on any political platforms but they are groups of people’s fighters with spesific course that is to defend people’s right and they really have proven it. Bravo to you all bro’s.
So, PAS don’t hesitate, this is another chance for PAS to show to public how PAS really care and concern about people’s problems. Hahaha, just go on with it just like you did before, helping to defend the so called oppressed squatters in Plentong Johor, Kehkehkeh.
Frankly speaking, I am not sure whether PAS can do much related to the request for assistance from Pewaris and GGMM, it won’t be an easy decision particularly during the heat of the Kuala Terengganu by-election campaign is rising high.
Well, on the contrary sometimes it’s good also for somebody to challenge the sincerity and stand of the so called Islamic Party. Without a challenge public will never know how sincere and good they are.
Hahaha, Pas have you decided yet ? I know it is hard since any decision made will definitely influence the result of the by-election. So, if PAS decided to take the effort and assisted them to solve and stop the pig rearing project then PAS might risk losing their non muslim voters. Public knows PAS desperately needs full support from them to win the razor thin majority over BN.
On the other hand, if PAS decide to discard the request then it will surely tarnished PAS image as a great muslim fighter. Most probably PAS will risk losing many-many muslim supporters because public start to see PAS as a great PHONEY HERO which choose only the issue that benefit them the most.
Kahkahkah, complicated hah…….
